If you ever had a day in your life that is so boring, but then you get scared almost to death. I had just brushed my teeth and getting ready to go to bed, I grabbed my phone and run upstairs. I got in bed and started watching YouTube. As I went into another video, I saw my sister go into her room and close her door. Since I saw her go into her room, the only other person that would come upstairs is my mom when she says goodnight. I watched a few more videos. Then I heard my mom coming upstairs. So I looked towards the stairs and when I saw her coming up, put your phone away and sleep. You have school tomorrow, she said once she got up. So I did put my phone away, but I wasn't tired yet. So after she went back downstairs I took my phone back out.

After I watched a few more videos, I saw a shadow walk from the window on the landing to my sister's room. I thought my mind was playing tricks on me or it was a shadow you could only see from a certain angle. That was weird, I thought to myself. I tried to move exactly how I did when I saw the shadow, so I could see it again and stop moving in the middle so I could see if I could find out what was casting the shadow. My mind must be playing tricks on me, I said to myself. But of course, after I watched a scary video, I saw it again, but this time it didn't move and it looked 3D Like it was someone wearing a mutated black suit walking across the landing into my sister's room, but I didn't hear anyone come up the stairs and you cannot go up or down without those stairs creaking. My mom came up and there was at least three creaks and cracks. But the other part scared me the most was my sister's door was closed. So if it was a person I would have seen them stop at my sister's door and open it. But her door was complete, completely creaky, as the stairs, but it was just disappearing at the door, as if going through a portal on the door and coming out on the other side or just walking right through. I was freaking out because of this.

I thought it was a good idea to Google how to get a demon out of your room. I was 10 at the time, so I really had no idea. Something came up about using a Ouija board to contact them and asked them to leave, putting a circle of salt around you so they couldn't get to you and weird horror movie shit like that. Obviously I can't put salt around me because my mom won't believe me or let me touch a salt and I'm scared to use a Ouija board alone. But I couldn't get the board anyway because it was in my sister's room. So I did what any scared to death 10 year old would Flash a very bright light at it.

Next time I see it I grabbed my brightest flashlight, which was only about 75 lumens, so it wasn't that bright. The next time I saw it it was moving faster and I didn't turn on my light before, so I didn't get it with the light or get to see it. I realized it only appeared when I wasn't paying attention, so I had to have my flashlight ready whenever I saw it. If I could get the flashlight on it, I will see a humanoid creature and then it will kill me. Since I saw his face, I thought to myself. As I saw it again, I nervously pointed the flashlight at it. Please don't kill me, I said quietly, pointing the light. I waited, but I don't know why. It was moving a little slower that time, but I didn't see a humanoid creature and it didn't seem to be a prank. It just disappeared. I never saw it again. I also never talked about this experience because I know nobody will believe me and I think I know where it came from.

More recently, I had a dream about this experience and in the dream I got up to go to the landing to see what was on it.

For some reason it led me to the back door, only moving from left to right. At the end of my vision, in the living room, the back door is glass and I saw the shadow with glowing red eyes and a big, bright white smile that went across its face from eye to eye, and the outline of the body was spiky and pulsing on the other side of the glass, standing on the porch rain pouring down from the sky, holding a knife, and I heard the thunder and felt fear. Then I heard a whisper that I couldn't really make out, but I think it said getting closer. Then I woke up 7am on Saturday, scared because I don't know why that dream would appear a few years after the actual experience. The phrase getting closer doesn't mean anything to me, so I'm just going to stay away from where I think it came from, since it happened when I was younger and I started to think the experience was fake. But being that I had that dream now I can't fucking forget it.
